Research Interests
Dr. Dark鈥檚 primary research interest is the complex relationship between the African American struggle for civil rights in the U.S. and the emergence of European democracies after the First and Second World Wars. He has recently begun local history research focused on Nashville鈥檚 historic Edgehill neighborhood and is working with library colleagues to explore grant opportunities for the digital curation of the Avon Williams papers at TSU.
