Biographical Sketch听
Reuben D'cunha joined Google in 2022 as a software engineer on听the GCE Fleet team within听Google Cloud. Before that, he was a student at University of California - Riverside where he earned his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Algorithms, Computer Graphics and AI. During college, Reuben worked as a student grader during his undergraduate days for various CS courses (CS 10A, CS 10B, CS 150 and CS 111) and later on as a TA during his graduate years for undergraduate data structures (CS 10C or CS 14) at UCR. He also undertook a research听opportunity over the summer studying computer graphics under Prof. Tamar Shinar and Prof. Craig Schroeder.
While working full time with Google, Reuben has been actively involved with teaching opportunities such as Google classroom visits during CSEd week @ Google and as a mentor for the CFA discovery internship. AT TSU, Reuben is excited to impact all that he has learnt during his time at university to the future software engineers of tomorrow and he hopes to create a safe environment for all his students to foster curiosity and be themselves.
