International Student

Guideline

All documents, including official transcripts, must be received by the Graduate School before a student will be considered for admission. International students should be fully admitted and can鈥檛 be granted conditional admission.

As an international student, you are required to take and provide the following steps and documents:

  • A听听and a non-refundable $48.00 application fee
  • Official transcripts or authorized school records with a course-by-course listing of courses and听grades received.听 听recommended agency: World Education Services:
  • 听test scores (TSU CODE: 1803)
  • Certificates of proficiency in English or minimum score of:听 6听
  • Copy of current, valid passport
  • Evidence of financial resources sufficient to provide tuition and fees for the academic year (minimum of $28,500 USD) and an affidavit of support
  • Certificate of Immunization听verifying
    • Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) - 2 doses
    • Varicella/Chicken Pox - 2 doses
  • All international students applying for admission who have a student visa shall submit a certificate from a licensed physician or听the qualified medical authority verifying freedom from tuberculosis within thirty (30) days from the first day of classes. Failure to submit such certificate shall result in denial of further enrollment or admission. In the event that the student either has tuberculosis or has potential tuberculosis requiring medical treatment, continued enrollment will be contingent upon the determination by a licensed physician that further enrollment does not present a risk to others and upon the student鈥檚 compliance with any prescribed medical treatment program.
  • After admission, copies of Visa, I-94,听or Alien Registration card must be submitted to听Mark Gunter, Director of听International and Multicultural Affairs, before student may enroll
  • International students transferring from another school must complete and听submit an听International听Student Transfer Form听to their current school's international advisor before their I-20 record can be transferred

Tuition and Payment

Fees are approved by the Tennessee Board of Regents once a year (usually in June) and are updated on this website each July. You may ESTIMATE fees for subsequent years by adding 5-10% each year. 91制片厂 reserves the right to increase the charges listed here-in or to add new fees whenever such increases or additions become necessary.
