Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships bring together the best of two worlds by combining the strengths of Early Head Start and child care programs by providing high quality full year, full-day, services for qualified families with comprehensive services and resources for all including families experiencing homelessness, children in foster care, and families with children with disabilities.听听

Are You Interested in Enrolling Your Child?
Here is what you will need to apply for an available child care slot:
- TennCare card and any other insurance cards for each child
- Copy of child鈥檚 birth certificate (can be official copy or Mother鈥檚 Copy)
- Proof of income, including:
-
- W-2
- Income tax forms
- Check Stubs
- Child support documentation
- Public Assistance (SSI, TANF, SNAP)
- Driver鈥檚 License
- Proof of Address
- Name, address, and telephone number of at least three emergency contact persons
- Child's Immunization Records

Are You Interested in Joining the Child Care Partnership Program?
Local child care programs can apply to join our partnership to provide full-day, full-year comprehensive services that meet the needs of low-income working families. Programs can use Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) including co-payments and Early Head Start funding to fund child care services for each fiscal year beginning August 1st and ending July 1st.
As a partner program, you must:
- Adhere to State Child Care Licensing Regulations Participate in CACFP
- Manage a budget with multiple funding sources
- Participate in the Child Care Certificate program

Are You Interested in Working at a Child Care Partnership Site?
The child care partnership sites are always looking for highly qualified early educators. All positions require a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). An Associate鈥檚 Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
